Why 36 inches

Three shirt fronts per row, not two

Most DTF shops print 22-inch sheets. Ours are 36 inches wide, so the same 5 ft of film holds 5 more shirt fronts, and each one costs you less.

We print them in our Carson shop on an Epson SureColor G6070, Epson's own direct-to-film printer, which prints 35.4 inches across 36-inch film.

Build a 22-inch sheet

Every whole foot from 1 to 20 ft is available; the builder picks the shortest sheet your designs fit on. The fronts column counts adult fronts of 10.5 × 11 in; smaller designs like left-chest logos fit many more. Prices are estimates until your free proof confirms them, before we make anything. Transfers by size have their own list on our prices page.

How a gang sheet works

No design software needed. The builder sizes, arranges and prices your sheet, and tells you if a file will print soft before you order.

  1. Upload your designs

A PNG with a transparent background works best. Logo on white, or a photo? The free background remover clears it.

  2. Pick sizes and quantities

Tap a size like left chest or adult front. The builder arranges the sheet for you and shows the price.

  3. We check every file

A real person looks at your sheet before it prints. Free, on every order.

  4. Pick up or we ship

Free pickup in Carson, same day when you order by 11 am (+$15.00). Shipping is free over $75.00.

A real shop, real people

Family owned, women owned and Latino owned, in Carson since 2008. You can call us, and you can walk in.

  • Every file checked by hand

Before your sheet prints, someone at the shop looks at every design: resolution, edges, tiny text, backgrounds that would print as a box. If something is off, we call you first.

  • Our mistake, our reprint

If a sheet is printed wrong, or the transfers don't stick when pressed as directed, we reprint it. No store-credit runaround.

  • Help pressing

New to heat pressing? Every order comes with the settings, the pressing guide walks you through it, and you can call (424) 570-0185 with questions.

  • Hablamos español

Call or come by the shop and we'll help you with your order in Spanish.

Four things that make a file print well

The builder checks the first two for you. Need help with a logo? Email it to orders@gbrospromotions.com and we'll take a look.

  1. Transparent background

Save your design as a PNG with no background, or let the builder's free background remover do it. A white or colored background prints as a solid box.

  2. 300 DPI at print size

An 11-inch design needs about 3,300 pixels across. Small images blown up print blurry.

  3. No faded shadows or glows

See-through pixels print speckled. Keep edges solid.

  4. Thick enough to press

Lines thinner than a hair and text under a tenth of an inch tall can lift in the wash.

Settings for what you have at home

For cotton, polyester and blends. The pressing guide has every step, peeling, washing and fixes for lifting edges.

Build a gang sheet
What is a gang sheet?

One long sheet of transfer film with all of your designs printed on it, side by side. You cut the designs apart and press each one onto a shirt, bag or hat. You pay for the sheet, not for each design, so the more you fit, the less each print costs.

Why 36 inches wide?

Most DTF sellers print 22-inch sheets, which fit two adult shirt fronts across. Our printer runs 36-inch film and prints 35.4 inches of it, so three fit across every row. On a 5 ft sheet that is 15 fronts instead of 10. We print 22-inch sheets too, if your file is already set up for them.

What printer do you use?

An Epson SureColor G6070, Epson's own direct-to-film printer, with Epson UltraChrome DF (CMYK + white). It is a production printer made for apparel transfers, run in our shop in Carson.

How fast can I get it?

Most orders are ready to pick up in 1 to 2 business days. We confirm the date when we check your file. Need it today? Order and approve your file by 11 am, Monday to Friday, and pick it up after 4 pm. Same-day pickup adds $15.00.

Do you ship?

Yes. Shipping is $6.99, and free on orders over $75.00. Pickup at the shop in Carson is always free.

What files work best?

A PNG with a transparent background, made at the size you will print it (300 DPI), or your logo file: PDF, Illustrator (AI) and SVG logos print sharp at any size. JPG and WEBP work too, up to 50 MB each. A JPG has no transparent background, so its background prints as a solid box. Logo on white, or a photo? The builder has a free background remover: it clears a solid color from around a logo, and its AI cuts people, pets and products out of photos, right on your device. It also shows you which files are sharp enough.

Can I add names and numbers for my team?

Yes. In the gang sheet builder, choose Names & numbers and paste your team list, one player per line (like SMITH 12), straight from a spreadsheet if you want. Pick what to print (names on the back, numbers on the back, front or sleeve), a jersey font and your colors, and every player gets their own transfer, sharp at any size. You can also add any text, like a team or business name.

What if my image is not sharp enough?

The builder checks every design at the size you choose and tells you if it will print blurry, and what size picture it needs. Its free AI can often sharpen a small picture right there, on your device. Before anything is printed, a real person at the shop looks at your sheet too, and we contact you if something looks off.

Is there a minimum?

No. One sheet with one design is fine. There are no setup fees and no per-design fees.

What can I press them on?

Cotton, polyester and blends, fleece, denim, canvas tote bags and more. Ask us before pressing nylon jackets or anything heat-sensitive.

How do I press them?

A heat press gives the best result, and a Cricut EasyPress or a household iron works for small jobs. Our pressing guide has the temperature, time and peel for each one.
