Your design is printed in full color onto a film, coated with a fine adhesive powder, cured, then heat-pressed onto the garment. Photos, gradients and any number of colors, on cotton, polyester and blends, with no screens and no minimum.

How it's made
- We print the filmYour design is printed in color with a white layer behind it, on our DTF printer.
- We powder and cure itA fine adhesive powder sticks to the wet ink and is melted in, making a transfer.
- We press itThe transfer is pressed onto the garment with heat and pressure, then the film is peeled away.
How the price works
- The price depends on the print's width: up to 4.5 in (a left chest) is $4, up to 12.5 in (a full front) $8, pressed on, before quantity.
- One to five pieces pay 20% more (each is printed and pressed on its own); from 24 pieces 10% less, from 96 25% less.
- No setup, no screens and no minimum.
- Orders under 6 pieces add $10 once for handling: the order, proof and packing take the same time for one shirt.

Sending your art
- A PNG with a clear background, at 300 dots per inch at full size, is ideal.
- Photos and gradients are welcome.
- Very thin lines (under 1 mm) and tiny text may not hold.
- We can remove a plain background for you in the studio.

Questions
Is DTF as durable as screen printing?
It lasts for dozens of washes when washed inside out in cold water and not ironed. Screen printing still wins for heavy use and big runs.
Can I buy the transfers and press them myself?
Yes: DTF transfers by size, or a gang sheet you fill with your designs. See DTF transfers.
Does it work on polyester?
Yes, and on blends, nylon and more. It is one of the most flexible methods.
