What this website keeps, where it goes, and why, in plain words.

Updated

The short version

  • Your cart and your designs stay in your own browser until you order.
  • Orders and quote requests go to the shop, so we can quote, make and deliver them.
  • No advertising or analytics trackers run on this site.
  • There’s one cookie, and it’s only for the shop owner’s sign-in.
  • We don’t sell or share your information with anyone for their own use.

What stays in your browser

Your cart, the designs you’re working on in our studios, and the pictures or logos you add to them are kept in your browser’s own storage, on your device. That’s how a reload doesn’t lose your work. None of it reaches us until you place an order, and you can clear it any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Orders and quote requests

When you place an order or send a quote request, what you typed (your name, email, phone number and the details of the job) is emailed to the shop so we can quote it, make it and get it to you. When the shop turns on storage, orders and quote requests are also kept on the shop’s hosting service, Vercel, together with any files you upload and a small picture of each design as you made it, so we have everything we need to make your order.

Emails about your order (to the shop, and to you when we send your proof or your order is ready) go out through our email service, Resend.

The shop may also get a short notice on its phone when you order or answer a proof, as a phone notification or a text message (sent through Twilio). It says your name, what you ordered and the total, never your email, phone number or notes.

Your order has its own page with a private link (it’s in your order email), where you see the proof, approve it and follow the order. Anyone with that link can see the order, so keep it to yourself.

Files you upload and then don’t order with are deleted after two weeks. We keep orders and their files as long as we need them to remake or reorder the job, and delete them if you ask. The shop also keeps a copy of its orders for its own records, like any business keeps its invoices.

To stop spam, the forms briefly count requests from each internet connection. That count isn’t saved. The shop’s own sign-in keeps a scrambled note of wrong passwords, never your address itself, for two days to stop guessing.

If you share a design by link, we store that design so the link works for the people you send it to.

Team rooms

When a coach makes a team room, the names, numbers and sizes families add are stored so the coach can see the list and order with it. Families who open the link see each player’s name and number, never another family’s sizes or payments. Team rooms are filled in by coaches and parents; players don’t sign up themselves.

Paying

You pay after you approve your proof: by card over the phone or in the shop, or online through our Pay page when we send you the link. Online card payments are taken on the payment page of our card processor (Clover, or Stripe for some order and team links), so your card number never passes through this website.

Trackers and cookies

No advertising or analytics trackers run on this site. The site uses one cookie, and only when the shop owner signs in to manage it.

Like any website, our hosting service keeps short-lived server logs (the address and time of each request) to keep the site running and secure.

Tools from other companies you can choose to use

The picture editor

If you choose “Edit it” on a file you added, the file opens in Photopea, a separate service that runs in your browser. It shows its own ads and has its own privacy policy.

AI ideas

When AI ideas are turned on, the words you type there are sent to an AI provider, Anthropic, to write suggestions. They aren’t used to train its models.
