Stitched logos for polos, caps and jackets

Embroidery

Your logo is turned into a stitch file once (digitizing), then sewn thread by thread on our machines. It is the most durable decoration there is, and it is what makes a polo or a cap look official. The price follows the number of stitches, not the number of colors.

White and black polos and five caps in black, navy, gray and white, all embroidered with the Claytone Golf logo in orange and green
Made in our shop. Real photo.

  • Staff polos, work shirts and uniforms
  • Caps and beanies

How it's made

  1. We digitize your logoA digitizer turns your art into a stitch file: which way each area is stitched, how dense, in what order. This is done once and kept for reorders.
  2. We sew a testNew logos are sewn out and checked before your order runs.
  3. We hoop each garmentThe garment is clamped in a hoop with a backing that keeps it flat while it is sewn.
  4. The machine sews itOur machines sew each color in turn, cutting the thread between parts.
  5. We finish itLoose threads are trimmed and the backing torn or cut away.

How the price works

  • The price per piece comes from the stitch count and the quantity. A left-chest logo is usually 5,000 to 8,000 stitches; a full back 20,000 or more.
  • The stitch file is made once: $35 to $65 for a small logo (left chest, cap), $55 to $100 for a medium one, $85 to $175 for a full back, depending on detail. Text-only designs are $10. We keep it: reorders don't pay again, and from 144 pieces it's free.
  • Up to 6 thread colors cost the same; each extra color is +$0.25 a piece.
  • Caps add $0.75 a piece at 24; fleece and stretchy fabrics $0.35 a piece; jackets $2 a piece (harder to hoop).
  • Never more for fewer: if a bigger order would cost less in total, you pay the smaller total.
One classic polo order at every quantity, garment included: the price per piece falls as the setup is shared.

Sending your art

  • Any clear logo works: we digitize it. Vector files make the cleanest stitches.
  • Keep text at least 1/4 inch tall and lines at least 1 mm wide; thread can't hold finer detail.
  • Simplify gradients and shadows to solid colors, or let our designer do it.
  • Already have a stitch file (DST or PES)? Send it and we use it.

Design help: clean up your file $25.00, redraw a logo $45.00, or design it from your idea from $75.00. Pick it in the studio.

Questions

Why is there a charge for the stitch file?

A person has to plan every stitch of your logo: the direction, density and order, so it sews flat and sharp on fabric. That work is done once. We keep the file, so every reorder skips it.

Does each color cost more?

No: the price follows the stitch count. Up to 6 colors are included; more colors mean more thread changes, so each extra one adds a little.

Can you embroider a photo?

Not well: thread is a solid color. We can turn a photo into a simplified stitched version, or print it with DTF.

How accurate is the stitch preview?

It is a computer's draft of your logo in thread: close on size and count, but our digitizer makes the real file. If the real count lands in another price step, you see the new price on your proof before you approve.

Ready when you are

Design it in the studio: the price and the date update as you go, and a real person checks every order and sends you a free proof.
